In this article, the concept of aberration is proposed as a way of selecting the best designs from those with maximum resolution, and algorithms are presented for constructing these minimum aberration designs.
Abstract
For studying k variables in N runs, all 2 k–p designs of maximum resolution are not equally good. In this paper the concept of aberration is proposed as a way of selecting the best designs from those with maximum resolution. Algorithms are presented for constructing these minimum aberration designs.

TL;DR: In this paper, a design optimality criterion, tr (L)-optimality, is applied to the problem of designing two-level multifactor experiments to detect the presence of interactions among the controlled variables.

A General Criterion for Factorial Designs Under Model Uncertainty

TL;DR: In this paper, the QB criterion, which aims to improve the estimation in as many models as possible by incorporating experimenters' prior knowledge along with an approximation to the As criterion, is presented.

Minimum G2-aberration properties of two-level foldover designs

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provided theoretical results on the construction of two-level fractional factorial designs with minimum G 2 -aberration for n = 24 runs and any m ⩽ n/2 factors.
