In this article, the concept of aberration is proposed as a way of selecting the best designs from those with maximum resolution, and algorithms are presented for constructing these minimum aberration designs.
Abstract
For studying k variables in N runs, all 2 k–p designs of maximum resolution are not equally good. In this paper the concept of aberration is proposed as a way of selecting the best designs from those with maximum resolution. Algorithms are presented for constructing these minimum aberration designs.

Design efficiency for minimum projection uniformity designs with two levels

TL;DR: For orthogonal arrays with strength two, the minimum projection uniformity criterion is a good surrogate for the design efficiency criterion proposed by Cheng, Deng and Tang (2002).

An efficient integrated approach to reduce scraps of industrial manufacturing processes: a case study from gauge measurement tool production firm

TL;DR: In this article, the main objective of this study is to reduce the scraps of gauge measurement tool manufacturing process with implementing of an efficient integrated approach based on six sigma methodology, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), design of experiment (DOE) technique, and also simultaneous analysis of several response variables by two different methods.

D‐optimal minimax fractional factorial designs

TL;DR: In this article, the authors extend the D-optimal minimax criterion to designs with factors having any levels (including mixed levels) and explore several important properties of this criterion, including scale invariance, robustness against misspecification of the effects in the linear model.

Computation in multicriteria matroid optimization

TL;DR: This work has developed algorithms and heuristics aimed at practical solution of large instances of some of these difficult problems that primarily use the local adjacency structure inherent in matroid polytopes to pivot to feasible solutions.

Partially replicated fractional factorial designs

TL;DR: In this paper, the use of partially replicated fractional factorial (FF) designs has been suggested as an alternative to the traditional FF designs for screening experiments where m factors are to be studied using n experimental runs and where m is relatively large compared to n. To illustrate the possibilities, we focus on 16 run designs and provide some partially replicated designs for 4 ≤ m ≤ 11.
