In this article, the concept of aberration is proposed as a way of selecting the best designs from those with maximum resolution, and algorithms are presented for constructing these minimum aberration designs.
Abstract
For studying k variables in N runs, all 2 k–p designs of maximum resolution are not equally good. In this paper the concept of aberration is proposed as a way of selecting the best designs from those with maximum resolution. Algorithms are presented for constructing these minimum aberration designs.

Construction of some 3n—m regular designs with general minimum lower order confounding

TL;DR: For three-level designs, the general minimum lower order confounding (GMC) criterion aims to choose optimal designs by treating aliased component-number pattern (ACNP) as a set.

Split-plot designs with mirror image pairs as sub-plots

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated two-level split-plot designs where the sub-plots consist of only two mirror image trials and showed that these designs divide the estimated effects into two orthogonal sub-spaces, separating sub-plot main effects and subplot by whole-plot interactions from the rest.

Screening Properties And Design Selection Of Certain Two-Level Designs

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors give all the inequivalent projections of inequivalent Hadamard matrices of order 28 into k=3 and 4 dimensions and furthermore, they give partial results for k=5 and sort these projections according to their generalized resolution and their generalized aberration.

Missing observations and restrictions on randomization in nanomanufacturing experimentation

TL;DR: New Bayesian algorithms are proposed that combine information from the traditional Bayesian screening algorithm used for identifying active factors and three existing algorithms for missing observations and are applied to simulated data sets that resemble the setup of the nano-scale lubrication experiment assuming one and two missing observations.

Minimum Aberration Two-Level Fractional Factorial Split-Plot Designs with Hard to Change Factors

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of finding two-level split plot designs which have minimum aberration among those designs which also minimize the number of level changes for the hard to change factors is considered.
