Catalytic functionalities of supported sulfides. I: Effect of support and additives on the CoMo catalyst
TL;DR: In this article, three model test reactions, C-S hydrogenolysis (HDS) of thiophene, hydrogenation (HYD) of 1-hexene, and hydrocracking (HCG) of 2,4,4-trimethyl-1-pentene, were used to differentiate and assess the catalytic functionalities of sulfided CoMo catalysts, and their dependence on the nature of support and incorporation of additives.
