TLDR
In this article, the authors examined the dynamic relationship between pollutant emissions, energy consumption, and the output for Brazil during 1980-2007 and applied the Grey prediction model (GM) to predict three variables during 2008-2013.

The Effects of Trade, Renewable Energy, and Financial Development on Consumption-Based Carbon Emissions

TL;DR: In this article , a large panel of data from 41 G20 and European Union (EU) countries is assembled for empirical analysis from 1990 to 2019. And the practical outcomes of panel quantile regression and feasible generalized least square (FGLS) approaches display that renewable energy and financial development positively relate to CCO 2 emissions; furthermore, trade to GDP hurts CCO2 emissions; market classification has been taken as a control variable which shows that the developed countries released more carbon than non-developed countries.

Short-Term CO 2 Emissions Forecasting Using Multi-variable Grey Model and Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) Algorithm Approach

TL;DR: In this article, an Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) was used to select the optimal weight of background values for a traditional GM(1,N) model to enhance the forecasting efficiency.

Integrated energy planning and modeling (IEPM) for sustainable electricity generation in Pakistan: Challenges and limitations

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used a three-pronged approach to determine the potential of IEPM in shaping sustainable energy systems, particularly for Pakistan, and found that the main hindrances in sustainable electricity generation in Pakistan are over dependence upon thermal fuel mix and partial achievement of national energy policy targets.

Co-integration and Error Correction: Representation, Estimation and Testing

TL;DR: The relationship between co-integration and error correction models, first suggested in Granger (1981), is here extended and used to develop estimation procedures, tests, and empirical examples.

Testing for a Unit Root in Time Series Regression

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed new tests for detecting the presence of a unit root in quite general time series models, which accommodate models with a fitted drift and a time trend so that they may be used to discriminate between unit root nonstationarity and stationarity about a deterministic trend.

Maximum likelihood estimation and inference on cointegration — with applications to the demand for money

TL;DR: In this paper, the estimation and testing of long-run relations in economic modeling are addressed, starting with a vector autoregressive (VAR) model, the hypothesis of cointegration is formulated as a hypothesis of reduced rank of the long run impact matrix.
