Neutrinos from the Sun
TLDR
In this paper, the main properties of the neutrino group (nu e, nu mu, nu e, Nu m, nu m, nu n, nu e, nu m, Nu e,nu m, Nu m ) are discussed.Abstract:
After a brief historical introduction, dealing with the development of the neutrino concept and the search for the free neutrino, the main properties of the various kinds of particles and antiparticles of the neutrino group ( nu e, nu mu , nu e, nu mu ) are listed. The article deals further only with the electron neutrinos nu e which are produced in the solar interior as a by-product of the thermonuclear reactions of hydrogen. An outline of the p-p chain and CNO cycle reactions inside the Sun is given, with the emphasis on the role of various branches of these processes in producing sufficiently energetic neutrinos which could be detected by Davis's method.read more

An Upper Limit on the Neutrino Rest Mass
Ramanath Cowsik,J. McClelland +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, it was pointed out that the measurement of the deceleration parameter by Sandage (1972) implies an upper limit of a few tens of electron volts on the sum of the masses of all the possible light, stable particles that interact only weakly.

Synthesis of the Elements in Stars
TL;DR: According to Burbidge, Fowler and Hoyle as mentioned in this paper, most of the elements were synthesized in the interior of stars by at least seven different types of nuclear processes Deuterium, lithium, beryllium and boron are very unstable at the temperatures of stellar interiors, so that they must have been produced in regions of low density and temperature.

The Concept of Observation in Science and Philosophy
TL;DR: The solar neutrino experiment, designed to test our fundamental theories of the source of energy which sustains the stars and life, is one of the most sophisticated and important experiments of the past two decades as mentioned in this paper.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the solar 8B ve flux, spectrum and direction, independent of neutrino flavor, in a heavy water Cerenkov detector, which is being designed to detect neutrinos.

Effective charges of ions and the stopping power of dense media
TL;DR: In this article, the stopping power of stars for massive neutrinos, through the interaction with the neutrino magnetic moment, is calculated, and some cosmological inferences are drawn.

Search for neutrinos from the sun
TL;DR: In this paper, a search was made for solar neutrinos with a detector based upon the reaction of a neutrino to the sun's carbon-nitrogen cycle, and the upper limit of the product of neutrini flux and cross sections for all sources of neutrinucleus was found to be 3/ifmmode/times/else/texttimes/fi.

Versuch einer Theorie der β-Strahlen. I
TL;DR: In this article, a quantitative Theorie des β-Zerfalls wird vorgeschlagen, in which man die Existenz des Neutrinos annimmt, and the Emission der Elektronen und Neutrininos aus einem Kern beim β-zerfall with einer ahnlichen Methode behandelt, wie die Emission eines Lichtquants aus angeregten Atom in der Strahlungstheorie.
