Journal ArticleDOI
Reductive decarboxylation of N-(acyloxy)phthalimides via redox-initiated radical chain mechanism
TL;DR: In this paper, a reductive decarboxylation of N-(acyloxy)phthalimides which are readily prepared from carboxylic acids was achieved by visible light irradiation using Ru(bpy) 3 Cl 2 as a sensitizer in the presence of BNAH and t -BuSH via radical chain mechanism.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photochemistry of titanocene(IV) derivatives
TL;DR: The cyclopentadienyl (Cp) derivatives of titanium(IV) in solvents containing halogen atoms leads to photolysis and abstraction of halogen as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Extended visible light response of binary TiO2-Ti2O3 photocatalyst prepared by a photo-assisted sol-gel method
TL;DR: A new kind of binary TiO2-Ti2O3 photocatalyst was successfully prepared by a simple photo-assisted sol-gel method as discussed by the authors, which exhibited remarkable photocatalytic activity in decomposition of many organic dye pollutants, including sulforhodamine B (SRB), eosin, erythrosin B, and rhodamines B (RB) under visible light illumination.
Journal ArticleDOI
The photosensitized formation and reaction of singlet oxygen, o2*(1δ), in aqueous micellar systems
TL;DR: In this paper, the results are consistent with a mechanism in which singlet oxygen is produced by energy transfer from methylene blue triplet in the aqueous phase, and then diffuses to and penetrates the interior of the micelles where it reacts with the furan.

Errors in ferrioxalate actinometry
Alexander D. Kirk,C. Namasivayam +1 more
TL;DR: Erreurs dans les mesures actinometriques dans le developpement lent de la coloration dues a linhibition de la formation du complexe Fe(phen) 3 2+ par le ferrioxalate lui-meme as mentioned in this paper.
