New Ru(II) photocages operative with near-IR light: new platform for drug delivery in the PDT window
TL;DR: A series of Ru(ii) complexes bearing the tridentate 2,6-di(quinolin-2-yl)pyridine (dqpy) ligand was designed to undergo photoinduced ligand dissociation with red/near-IR light.

A Novel Approach for the Oxidative Degradation of Organic Pollutants in Aqueous Solutions Mediated by Iron Tetrasulfophthalocyanine under Visible Light Radiation
TL;DR: It was found that under visible light irradiation, organic pollutants in the [Fe(PcS)]/H(2)O( 2) system can be rapidly degraded, but the concentration of [Fe (Pc)S)] remains nearly unchanged, and this indicates that [ Fe(P cS)] has a good catalytic character.

Carboxylated zinc-phthalocyanines--II. Dimerization and singlet molecular oxygen sensitization in hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide micelles.
TL;DR: The dimerization of the diamide of zinc‐tetracarboxyphthalocyanine was studied spectro‐scopically in hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide micelles at surfactant concentrations between 0.026 to 0.1 M and dye concentrations and the usual sensitization mechanism is extended to include dimer reactions.
