TLDR
In this article, the authors describe how the Phasenraum eines Lichtquants in bezug auf ein gegebenes Volumen wird in „Zellen“ von der Grose h3 aufgeteilt, i.e., the Zahl der moglichen Verteilungen der Lichtquanten einer makroskopisch definierten Strahlung unter diese Zellen liefert die Entropie.
Abstract

Numerical method for the Compton scattering operator.

TL;DR: In this article, a new discretization of the Kompaneets equation is presented, which can be derived from the Quantum Boltzmann equation for cross sections localized around small changes in the energy.

Experiments with Rydberg atoms on a current-carrying atom chip

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors employed two-photon Rydberg Stark spectroscopy of a micron-sized cloud of magnetically trapped ultracold rubidium atoms to characterize the electric fields near their atom-chip.

Applications of Coulomb crystals in cold chemistry

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe a range of ion-molecule reactions at very low collision energies using a newly developed experimental technique which involves the reaction of velocity-selected beams of translationally cold neutral molecules with very low kinetic energy ion ensembles.

Hawking Radiation and Analogue Experiments: A Bayesian Analysis

TL;DR: In this paper, a Bayesian analysis of the epistemology of analogue experiments with particular reference to Hawking radiation is presented, and it is shown that such experiments can be confirmatory in Bayesian terms based upon appeal to "universality arguments".

Special purpose quantum information processing with atoms in optical lattices

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show how to implement robust gate operations on qubits encoded in a decoherence-free subspace (DFS) exploiting collisional interactions between the atoms.
