TLDR
In this article, the authors describe how the Phasenraum eines Lichtquants in bezug auf ein gegebenes Volumen wird in „Zellen“ von der Grose h3 aufgeteilt, i.e., the Zahl der moglichen Verteilungen der Lichtquanten einer makroskopisch definierten Strahlung unter diese Zellen liefert die Entropie.
Abstract

Dynamics of bright matter wave solitons in Bose-Einstein condensates in an expulsive parabolic and complex potential

TL;DR: In this paper, a new family of analytic solutions of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation with an imaginary potential was presented to describe the dynamics of a bright soliton in a Bose-Einstein condensate with an expulsive parabolic and complex potential.
Journal ArticleDOI

Models and methodologies in current theoretical high-energy physics

TL;DR: A case study of the development of quantum field theory and of S-matrix theory, from their inceptions to the present, is presented and Lakatos' scheme provides a reasonable overall description and a plausible assessment of the relative value of these two programs in terms of progressive and degenerating problem shifts.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mixtures of ultracold gases: Fermi sea and Bose-Einstein condensate of lithium isotopes

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied quantum degenerate atomic gases of fermionic and bosonic atoms, and showed the formation of a bright soliton without spreading over a macroscopic distance of 1.1 mm.

Can Scientific Constraints be Violated Rationally

TL;DR: Serious scientific problems are rarely simple matters of explaining empirical data; they are often highly conceptual, and the constraints or conditions of adequacy on its solution are predominantly conceptual rather than empirical.
