TLDR
In this article, the authors describe how the Phasenraum eines Lichtquants in bezug auf ein gegebenes Volumen wird in „Zellen“ von der Grose h3 aufgeteilt, i.e., the Zahl der moglichen Verteilungen der Lichtquanten einer makroskopisch definierten Strahlung unter diese Zellen liefert die Entropie.
Abstract

Theoretical and experimental study of spin-1 antiferromagnetic Bose-Einstein Condensates

Lingxuan Shao
TL;DR: In this paper, the properties of spin-1 Bose-Einstein condensates with antiferromagnetic interactions realized in the ultra-cold sodium gases confined in optical dipole traps were investigated.

Wave and photon descriptions of light: historical highlights, epistemological aspects and teaching practices

TL;DR: In this article, the wave and photon descriptions of light are discussed in connection with interference and the Doppler effect, and the wave description is shown to be in agreement with experiment only when the high number of photons used (one at a time or all together) overshadows their spatially localised interaction with the detectors.

Land cover change using an energy transition paradigm in a statistical mechanics approach

TL;DR: In this article, an energy transition paradigm is used as a means to predict specific land cover changes on a continental scale, and a cost function is applied to developed land covers for urban and agricultural areas, using specific examples of a Polya process involving Maxwell-Boltzmann and Bose-Einstein statistics.

Observation-dependent suppression and enhancement of two-photon coincidences by tailored losses

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors demonstrate experimentally that the two-particle coincidence statistics of two bosons can instead be seamlessly tuned from the expected case of suppression to substantial enhancement by an appropriate choice of the observation basis.

Effective-action approach to dirty bosons in optical lattices

TL;DR: In this article, an effective-action approach was proposed to investigate the phase transition in the presence of disorder at arbitrary temperatures. And the application of the effective action method showed to be promising in analyzing the superfluid to insulating states phase transition as well as in improving former analytical results.
