TLDR
In this article, the authors describe how the Phasenraum eines Lichtquants in bezug auf ein gegebenes Volumen wird in „Zellen“ von der Grose h3 aufgeteilt, i.e., the Zahl der moglichen Verteilungen der Lichtquanten einer makroskopisch definierten Strahlung unter diese Zellen liefert die Entropie.
Abstract

Bose fluids and positive solutions to weakly coupled systems with critical growth in dimension two

TL;DR: In this article, the existence of positive vector ground states solutions for Bose-Einstein type systems in dimension two was proved using variational methods, where the nonlinear interaction between two Bose fluids was assumed to be of critical exponential type in the sense of Moser.

Thermalization of a two-dimensional photon gas in a polymeric host matrix

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate thermodynamic properties of a two-dimensional photon gas confined by a dye-filled optical microcavity, which is achieved by radiative coupling to a heat bath that is realized with dye molecules embedded in a polymer at room temperature.

Self-consistent derivation of the modified Gross-Pitaevskii equation with Lee-Huang-Yang correction

Luca Salasnich
- 21 Oct 2018 -
TL;DR: In this article, a modified Gross-Pitaevskii equation with beyond-mean-field corrections due to quantum depletion and anomalous density was derived from the stationary equation of the Bose-Einstein order parameter coupled to the Bogoliubov-de Gennes equations of the out-of-condensate field operator.

Atomic scattering from Bose-Einstein condensates

Ivo Haering, +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated how the differential and total cross-sections reflect the density of condensate wave functions in the Gross-Pitaevskii theory, and determined which signatures the Thomas Fermi approximation leaves in contrast to an exact solution for the condensor wave function.
Book ChapterDOI

Nonlinear Schrodinger Equation with Dissipation: Two Models for Bose-Einstein Condensates

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of Feshbach resonance on the dynamics of a BEC, in a parabolic trap and in an optical lattice, as well as modulational instability of a trapped BEC was investigated.
