TLDR
In this article, the authors describe how the Phasenraum eines Lichtquants in bezug auf ein gegebenes Volumen wird in „Zellen“ von der Grose h3 aufgeteilt, i.e., the Zahl der moglichen Verteilungen der Lichtquanten einer makroskopisch definierten Strahlung unter diese Zellen liefert die Entropie.
Abstract

The evolution of some statistical mechanical ideas

J. S. Rowlinson
- 20 Nov 2006 -
TL;DR: The combination of these two approaches was a task of the late 19th and early 20th centuries as discussed by the authors, and the advent of quantum theory clarified many of the difficulties and showed how appropriate was Willard Gibbs's treatment of the subject.

Quantum coins, dice, and children: Probability and quantum statistics

TL;DR: In this article, counterintuitive aspects of probabilities for systems of identical particles obeying quantum statistics are discussed, and it is emphasized that even in the absence of interactions, (anti)symmetrizations of multiparticle wave functions destroy statistical independences and often lead to dramatic departures from our intuitive expectations.

The free energy of a dilute two-dimensional Bose gas

Simon Mayer
TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered the dilute limit where the scattering length of the interaction potential, which is a measure for the effective range of the potential, is small compared to the average distance between the particles.

Quarkonia and QGP studies

TL;DR: Theoretical support for this hypothesis comes from the cluster expansion of the plasma Hamiltonian for heavy quarkonia in a strongly correlated medium as discussed by the authors, and the suppression pattern of the rather precise NA60 data from In-In collisions may be related to the recently discovered X(3872) state.
