TLDR
This work has developed a novel acoustic detection technology, which they term resonant acoustic profiling (RAP), which builds on the fundamental basics of the "quartz crystal microbalance" or "QCM" with several key additional features including two- or four-channel automated sample delivery, in-line referencing and microfluidic sensor 'cassettes' that are pre-coated with easy-to-use surface chemistries.

Two-dimensional phononic crystal sensor based on a cavity mode

TL;DR: In this article, a two-dimensional phononic crystal with in-plane wave incidence was used for acoustic liquid sensors, which is made up of a steel plate having two regular arrays of holes and a cavity in between.

Optimizing immobilization on two-dimensional carboxyl surface: pH dependence of antibody orientation and antigen binding capacity.

TL;DR: It is shown that successful immobilization is highly dependent on surface pK(a), antibody pI, and pH of immobilization buffer, and the orientation of the antibodies on the surface had a profound effect on the antigen binding capacity of the immobilized antibodies.
