In this article, a new quasi resonant inverter called Switched-coupled-inductor quasi Z-Source Inverter (SCL-qZSI) is introduced.
Abstract
Z-Source inverter has become main aspect for buck and boost inversion, where the boost gain is limited due to more component voltage sag and swell are high. To avoid these new quasi resonant inverter called Switched-coupled-inductor quasi Z-Source Inverter (SCL-qZSI) is introduced. This SCL-qZSI adds one capacitor, coupled inductor and two diodes compare to traditional qZSI. Switching stress can be minimized by obtaining a optimized capacitor voltage. By using Space Vector Modulation technique a comparison in terms of harmonic distortion (THD), voltage gain and boost factor results are validated. To prove the advantages of SCL-qZSI over qZSI Simulation analysis are being presented.

An SVPWM-Based Switching Pattern for Stand-Alone and Grid-Connected Three-Phase Single-Stage Boost Inverters

TL;DR: In this article, a switching pattern based on the concept of the conventional space vector pulsewidth-modulated (SVPWM) technique is developed for single-stage, three-phase boost-inverters using the topology of current-source inverters.

Cascaded Multicell Trans-Z-Source Inverters

TL;DR: Cascaded trans-Z-source inverters as mentioned in this paper use multiple magnetic cells in an alternately cascading pattern rather than a single magnetic cell with large turns ratio, which can produce the same highvoltage gain, while keeping currents and voltages of the components low.

A New Space-Vector PWM With Optimal Switching Selection for Multilevel Coupled Inductor Inverters

TL;DR: A new multilevel SVPWM technique with a five-segment switching sequence is described, where half-wave symmetrical PWM voltage waveforms are used to balance the inductor common-mode dc voltages and also to avoid all possible switching states with a high winding current ripple.

Cascaded TZ-source inverters

TL;DR: In this paper, a new cascaded TZ-source inverter is proposed to distribute the stresses on the passive components, which uses a high modulation index to produce the same output voltage gain with reduced component count.
