The Riemannsche Theorie der algebraischen Funktionen as discussed by the authors is a Theorie von der graphisch uber der komplexen Zahlenebene.
Abstract

Lifting of homeomorphisms to branched coverings of a disk

TL;DR: In this article, the authors consider a simple, possibly disconnected, d-sheeted branched covering π of a closed 2-dimensional disk D by a surface X, and find an explicit small set generating L. The generators are powers of half-twists.

Classifying spaces for the family of virtually cyclic subgroups of braid groups

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the minimal dimension of a model of the classifying space of the full braid group (B_n), and of the pure braid groups (P_n) with respect to the family of virtually cyclic groups is Ω(n) for any constant > 0.

Computational Methods in Constructive Galois Theory

TL;DR: This lecture begins with a short survey of the known rationality criteria for Galois extensions over ℂ(t1,...,ts) or, equivalently, forGalois coverings of the projective space ’S(ℂ).

On maximal chains in the non-crossing partition lattice

TL;DR: In this article, a weak order on the set of maximal chains of the non-crossing partition lattice is introduced and studied, and a $0$-Hecke algebra action is used to compute the radius of the graph on these chains.
