It is concluded that the multiple spin-fluctuation modes arising from the nesting across the disconnected Fermi surfaces realize an extended s-wave Pairing, while d-wave pairing can also be another candidate.
Abstract
For a newly discovered iron-based high ${T}_{c}$ superconductor ${\mathrm{LaFeAsO}}_{1\ensuremath{-}x}{\mathrm{F}}_{x}$, we have constructed a minimal model, where inclusion of all five Fe $d$ bands is found to be necessary. The random-phase approximation is applied to the model to investigate the origin of superconductivity. We conclude that the multiple spin-fluctuation modes arising from the nesting across the disconnected Fermi surfaces realize an extended $s$-wave pairing, while $d$-wave pairing can also be another candidate.

Theoretical approach to direct resonant inelastic x-ray scattering on magnets and superconductors

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated how resonant inelastic x-ray scattering (RIXS) spectra of magnetic excitations can reveal long-range orbital correlations in transition metal compounds, by discriminating different kind of orbital order in magnetic and antiferromagnetic systems.

Doping-Dependent and Orbital-Dependent Band Renormalization in Ba(Fe1-xCox)2As2 Superconductors

TL;DR: In this article, angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy of Ba(Fe 1-x Co x ) 2 As 2 ( x = 0.06, 0.14, and 0.24) shows that the width of the Fe 3 d y z / z x hole band depends on the doping level.

Theoretical approach to resonant inelastic x-ray scattering in iron-based superconductors at the energy scale of the superconducting gap

TL;DR: In this article, a phenomenological theory was developed to predict the characteristic features of the momentum-dependent scattering amplitude in resonant inelastic x-ray scattering (RIXS) at the energy scale of the superconducting gap in iron-based superconductors.

Superconducting compounds with metallic square net

TL;DR: In this article, the metal-insulator transition is induced by increased width of the Bi 6p band around the Fermi level through the chemical pressure of the Ln3+ ion substitution.
