Campbell,Adrienne M. Flanagan,Adrienne M. Flanagan +34 more
TL;DR: A remarkable picture of tumor type specificity for histone H 3.3.3 driver alterations emerges, indicating that hist one H3.
Journal ArticleDOI

Andrew Futreal,Adrienne M. Flanagan,Adrienne M. Flanagan,Adrian L. Harris,Adrian L. Harris,Peter J. Campbell,Peter J. Campbell +59 more
TL;DR: This work employed whole-genome, whole-exome and targeted sequencing to study the somatic changes underpinning primary and secondary angiosarcoma, and identified recurrent mutations in two genes, PTPRB and PLCG1, which are intimately linked to angiogenesis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mutational signatures of ionizing radiation in second malignancies.

TL;DR: Two signatures of somatic mutation characterize ionizing radiation exposure irrespective of tumour type, and a significant increase in balanced inversions in radiation-associated tumours is observed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diagnostic value of H3F3A mutations in giant cell tumour of bone compared to osteoclast-rich mimics.
Nadege Presneau,Daniel Baumhoer,Sam Behjati,Nischalan Pillay,Patrick S. Tarpey,Peter J. Campbell,Gernot Jundt,Rifat Hamoudi,David C. Wedge,Peter Van Loo,Hassan Ab,Bhavisha Khatri,Hongtao Ye,Roberto Tirabosco,Maria Fernanda Amary,Adrienne M. Flanagan +15 more
TL;DR: Overall, the observations suggest that the presence of H3F3A p.Gly34 mutations appear to be an almost essential feature of GCT that will aid pathological evaluation of bone tumours, especially when confronted with small needle core biopsies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fibroblastic growth factor receptor 1 amplification in osteosarcoma is associated with poor response to neo-adjuvant chemotherapy
M Fernanda Amary,Hongtao Ye,Fitim Berisha,Bhavisha Khatri,Georgina Forbes,Katie Lehovsky,Anna Maria Frezza,Sam Behjati,Patrick S. Tarpey,Nischalan Pillay,Peter J. Campbell,Roberto Tirabosco,Nadege Presneau,Sandra J. Strauss,Adrienne M. Flanagan +14 more
TL;DR: This study provides a rationale for inclusion of patients with osteosarcoma in clinical trials using FGFR kinase inhibitors by determining if this biomarker could be used for stratification of patients for treatment.
