Pearson,Michelle Hummel,Wolfram Jung,Melanie Ott,Danielle Canioni,Kheira Beldjord,Christian Bastard,M. H. Delfau-Larue,J. J. M. Van Dongen,Thierry Jo Molina,José Cabeçadas +32 more
TL;DR: B-cell clonality was detected by combined use of the IGH and IGK multiplex PCR assays in all 260 definitive cases of B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia, mantle cell lymphoma, marginal zone lymphoma and follicular lymphoma.
Journal ArticleDOI

Groenen,Paula Gameiro,C. Pott,J. J. M. Van Dongen +27 more
TL;DR: The participants of the BIOMED-2 Concerted Action CT98-3936 report on the validation of the newly developed clonality assays in various disease entities, which can now be implemented in routine lymphoma diagnostics.
Journal ArticleDOI
Automated high resolution PCR fragment analysis for identification of clonally rearranged immunoglobulin heavy chain genes.
TL;DR: The results demonstrate that automated fluorescence detection of IgH-CDR3-PCR products is an ideal tool for detection of clonal and polyclonal lymphoid B cells and may improve current experimental approaches to detect occult malginant B cells during initial staging and follow-up of NHL and ALL patients.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pott,Monika Brüggemann,Nikos Darzentas +35 more
TL;DR: EuroClonality-NGS provides a complete protocol for standardised IG/TR gene rearrangement analysis by NGS with high reproducibility, accuracy and precision for valid marker identification and quantification in diagnostics of lymphoid malignancies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structure of Bcl-1 and IgH-CDR3 rearrangements as clonal markers in mantle cell lymphomas
C. Pott,Markus Tiemann,B Linke,Melanie Ott,M von Hofen,I. Bolz,Wolfgang Hiddemann,Reza Parwaresch,M Kneba +8 more
TL;DR: The established PCR method to amplify t(11;14) junctional sequences in DNA from fresh frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue by bcl-1-specific primers in combination with a consensus immunoglobulin JH primer may improve current experimental approaches for detection of occult MCL cells at initial staging and residual disease during and after therapy.
