Journal ArticleDOI
Derivation of totipotent-like stem cells with blastocyst-like structure forming potential
Yaxing Xu,Jingru Zhao,Yi Ren,Xuyang Wang,Yulin Lyu,Bingqing Xie,Yiming Sun,Xiandun Yuan,Haiyin Liu,Weifeng Yang,Yenan Fu,Yu Yu,Yinan Liu,Rong Mu,Cheng Li,Jun Xu,Hongkui Deng +16 more
TL;DR: In this article , a chemical cocktail enables the derivation of totipotent-like stem cells from 2-cell mouse embryos and extended pluripotent stem cells, and these TPS cells can be stably maintained long term.
Journal ArticleDOI
Senescence-activated enhancer landscape orchestrates the senescence-associated secretory phenotype in murine fibroblasts.
Yiting Guan,Chao Zhang,Guoliang Lyu,Xiaoke Huang,Xuebin Zhang,Tenghan Zhuang,Lumeng Jia,Lijun Zhang,Chen Zhang,Cheng Li,Wei Tao +10 more
TL;DR: The results provide novel insight into the TAD-related control of SASP gene expression by revealing hierarchical roles of the chromatin architecture, transcription factors, and enhancer activity in the regulation of cellular senescence.
Journal ArticleDOI
CaSNP: a database for interrogating copy number alterations of cancer genome from SNP array data
TL;DR: CaSNP was used to study the CNA of protein-coding genes as well as LincRNA genes across all cancer SNP arrays, and found putative regions harboring novel oncogenes and tumor suppressors.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Effects of Propofol and Sevoflurane on Postoperative Delirium in Older Patients: A Randomized Clinical Trial Study.
Xinchun Mei,Hailin Zheng,Cheng Li,Xin Ma,Hui Zheng,Edward R. Marcantonio,Zhongcong Xie,Yuan Shen +7 more
TL;DR: This pilot study established a system to compare effects of different anesthetics and generated a hypothesis that propofol trended to have a higher incidence and had longer duration of postoperative delirium than sevoflurane.
Journal ArticleDOI
Generation of human hepatocytes from extended pluripotent stem cells
Qiming Wang,Da Sun,Zhen Liang,Junyi Wang,Xinxing Zhong,Yulin Lyu,Junning Cao,Zhongqing Lin,Yuanyuan Du,Zhenchuan Miao,Shichun Lu,Cheng Li,Jun Xu,Yan Shi,Hongkui Deng +14 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that human EPS cells could be efficiently differentiated into functional hepatocytes (EPS-Heps) through adding a pretreatment step before hepatic differentiation, which is a step closer to conventional human pluripotent stem cells.
