Whole Genome Paired End Sequencing Identifies Genomic Evolution in Myeloma.
Nikhil C. Munshi,Hervé Avet-Loiseau,Phil Stephens,Masood A. Shammas,Cheng Li,Leutz Buon,Samir B. Amin,Parantu K. Shah,Benjamin King,Mariateresa Fulciniti,Jagannath Pal,Yu-Tzu Tai,Paul G. Richardson,Stephane Minvielle,Peter J. Campbell,Kenneth C. Anderson,Andrew Futreal +16 more
TL;DR: This is the first study utilizing massively parallel sequencing to investigate the MM genome and provides important insight into the pathogenesis of disease progression and confirms the potential of whole genome sequencing to inform biology of the disease that may affect the therapeutic approach in future.
Simultaneous and Exact Interval Estimates for the Contrast of Two Groups Based on an Extremely High Dimensional Response Variable: Application to Mass Spec Data Analysis
TL;DR: The proposed confidence bands method successfully detected the spiked-in peaks, as well as, secondary peaks generated by adducts and double-charged species, in high-dimensional genomic/proteomic datasets that discriminate two treatment groups using a permutation scheme.
Journal ArticleDOI
31: Comprehensive Typing of 1143 Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNP) in 220 Immunoregulatory Genes Demonstrates That Polymorphisms in CCL3, CCL4 and CCL27 Modulate the Risk of Acute Graft Versus Host Disease (GVHD)

Journal ArticleDOI
Enhance affective expression and social reciprocity for children with autism spectrum disorder: using virtual reality headsets at schools
Horace H. S. Ip,Simpson W. L. Wong,Dorothy F.Y. Chan,Cheng Li,Lo Lo Kon,Po Ke Ma,Kate Shuk-Ying Lau,Julia Byrne +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors presented a study that used VR headsets to enhance affective expression and social reciprocity for children with ASD and explored how the approach could be effectively and sustainably delivered at schools.
Journal ArticleDOI
High-Throughput Microrna Profiling in Patients with Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia.
Sophia Adamia,Samir B. Amin,Cheng Li,Christopher J. Patterson,Hervé Avet-Loiseau,Stephane Minvielle,Philippe Moreau,Kenneth C. Anderson,Nikhil C. Munshi,Steven P. Treon +9 more
TL;DR: These studies demonstrate significant differences in microRNA expression between comparable WM and healthy donor lymphoplasmacytic cell populations, and identify aberrancies in microRNAs with a pivotal role in the growth and survival of B-cells.
