Journal ArticleDOI
Whole genome loss of heterozygosity profiling on oral squamous cell carcinoma by high-density single nucleotide polymorphic allele (SNP) array
Journal ArticleDOI
Nuclear peripheral chromatin-lamin B1 interaction is required for global integrity of chromatin architecture and dynamics in human cells.
Lei Chang,Mengfan Li,Shipeng Shao,Chen Li,Shanshan Ai,Boxin Xue,Yingping Hou,Yiwen Zhang,Ruifeng Li,Xiaoying Fan,Aibin He,Cheng Li,Yujie Sun +12 more
TL;DR: It is proved that depletion of lamin B1 leads to increased chromatin dynamics, owing to chromatin decompaction and redistribution toward nucleoplasm, and the inter-chromosomal as well as inter-compartment interactions are increased, but the structure of topologically associating domains (TADs) is not affected.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comparison of primary neuroblastoma tumors and derivative early-passage cell lines using genome-wide single nucleotide polymorphism array analysis.
Samuel L. Volchenboum,Cheng Li,Shuli Li,Edward F. Attiyeh,C. Patrick Reynolds,John M. Maris,A. Thomas Look,Rani E. George +7 more
TL;DR: The analysis shows that LOH was identified significantly more often in derived cell lines compared with the original tumor samples, and stromal contamination may be a major contributing factor in underestimation of LOH and copy number loss events.
Journal ArticleDOI
Genome-wide expression analysis reveals dyregulation of myelination-related genes in chronic schizophrenia
Y. Hakak,J.R. Walker,Cheng Li,Wing Hung Wong,Kenneth L. Davis,J.D. Buxbaum,Vahram Haroutunian,A.A. Fienberg +7 more
TL;DR: DNA microarray analysis was used to assay gene expression levels in post-mortem dorso-lateral prefrontal cortex from patients with schizophrenia and controls, finding differential expression of myelination-related genes suggesting a disruption in oligodendrocyte function in schizophrenia.
Journal ArticleDOI
Different MMSE Score Is Associated with Postoperative Delirium in Young-Old and Old-Old Adults.
Yujie Wu,Zhongyong Shi,Meijuan Wang,Yingbo Zhu,Cheng Li,Guodong Li,Edward R. Marcantonio,Zhongcong Xie,Yuan Shen +8 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that the association between preoperative MMSE score and postoperative delirium is age-dependent, and the optimal cutoff score of MMSE associated with postoperativeDelirium in young-old adults might be lower than that in old- old adults.
