Journal ArticleDOI

Deep glacial troughs and stabilizing ridges unveiled beneath the margins of the Antarctic ice sheet

TL;DR: In this paper, a high-resolution and physically based description of Antarctica bed topography using mass conservation is presented, revealing previously unknown basal features with major implications for glacier response to climate change.
Journal ArticleDOI

A thalamic contribution to arousal-induced, non-photic entrainment of the circadian clock of the Syrian hamster.

TL;DR: Results show that the IGL is a necessary component of the neural pathways mediating both arousal‐ and benzodiazepine‐induced non‐photic entrainment in intact hamsters.
Book ChapterDOI

The Automatic Statistician

TL;DR: This chapter describes the common architecture of such Automatic Statistician systems, and discusses some of the design decisions and technical challenges.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ice fabric in an Antarctic ice stream interpreted from seismic anisotropy

TL;DR: In this article, an anisotropic ice fabric was observed to shear 9.1 times more easily along the ice flow direction than across flow in a fast moving ice stream in West Antarctica.
