Journal ArticleDOI

Adjuvant chemoradiotherapy versus radiotherapy alone for women with high-risk endometrial cancer (PORTEC-3): final results of an international, open-label, multicentre, randomised, phase 3 trial

Stephanie M. de Boer, +71 more
- 01 Mar 2018 -
TL;DR: Adjuvant chemotherapy given during and after radiotherapy for high-risk endometrial cancer did not improve 5-year overall survival, although it did increase failure-free survival.
Journal ArticleDOI

Incidence of cerebral metastases in patients treated with trastuzumab for metastatic breast cancer

TL;DR: A high proportion of patients with MBC treated with trastuzumab develop symptomatic cerebral metastases, which indicates that HER-2-positive breast cancer may have a predilection for the brain, or trastzumab therapy may change the disease pattern by prolonging survival.
Journal ArticleDOI

Worldwide human papillomavirus genotype attribution in over 2000 cases of intraepithelial and invasive lesions of the vulva

Silvia de Sanjosé, +52 more
TL;DR: Combined data from HPV-DNA and p16(INK4a) testing are likely to represent a closer estimate of the real fraction of IVC induced by HPV, indicating that HPV contribution in invasive vulvar cancer has probably been overestimated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Adjuvant chemoradiotherapy versus radiotherapy alone in women with high-risk endometrial cancer (PORTEC-3): patterns of recurrence and post-hoc survival analysis of a randomised phase 3 trial

Stephanie M. de Boer, +71 more
- 22 Jul 2019 -
TL;DR: The PORTEC-3 trial investigated the benefit of combined adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy versus pelvic radiotherapy alone for women with high-risk endometrial cancer and did a post-hoc survival analysis to investigate patterns of recurrence.
