Functional genomic landscape of acute myeloid leukaemia

Jeffrey W. Tyner, +90 more
- 17 Oct 2018 -
TL;DR: Analyses of samples from patients with acute myeloid leukaemia reveal that drug response is associated with mutational status and gene expression; the generated dataset provides a basis for future clinical and functional studies of this disease.
Journal ArticleDOI

Integrated analysis of patient samples identifies biomarkers for venetoclax efficacy and combination strategies in acute myeloid leukemia.

TL;DR: By integrating clinical characteristics, exome and RNA sequencing, and inhibitor data from primary AML patient samples, it is determined that myelomonocytic leukemia, upregulation of BCL2A1 and CLEC7A, as well as mutations of PTPN11 and KRAS conferred resistance to venetoclax and multiple venetClax combinations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biomarkers Predicting Venetoclax Sensitivity and Strategies for Venetoclax Combination Treatment

TL;DR: This study investigated approximately 200 AML patient samples and correlated clinical parameters, whole exome sequence data, and RNAseq gene expression data with in vitro drug screening data to identify subsets of AML samples with sensitivity or resistance to venetoclax alone and in combinations with 10 small molecular inhibitors.
