Measurement and Hemodialysis Effect of Complex Relative Permittivity for Blood of Kidney Patients Using Open-Ended Coaxial Measurement Probe

TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the dielectric properties of 2.5 ml whole blood at 25 °C for 10 normal healthy subjects and 9 hemodialysis patients and found that the measured results on healthy subjects show good agreement with the data reported by Gabriel for human blood at 37 °C, while they provide different dispersion characteristics of straight lines for their Cole-Cole plots.

Common-Mode Noise Reduction in Noncontact Biopotential Acquisition Circuit Based on Imbalance Cancellation of Electrode-Body Impedance

TL;DR: This work presents two novel CM noise reduction circuit designs based on electrode-body impedance imbalance cancellation, both of which showed effectiveness in CM noise rejection and proposed a practical approach to detect and monitor the electrode- body impedance imbalance change.

Specific absorption rate reduction based on outage probability analysis for wireless capsule endoscope with spatial receive diversity

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of spatial receive diversity on specific absorption rate (SAR) reduction based on outage probability analysis for wireless capsule endoscope (WCE) was investigated, where the authors pay attention to the expectation that applying spatial diversity reception to WCE systems can not only improve the wireless communication performance but also reduce SAR.
