Journal ArticleDOI

Viral and host factors related to the clinical outcome of COVID-19.

TL;DR: Clinical data from 326 cases suggest that T cell depletion and cytokine bursts are associated with a worse prognosis, and genomic sequences from 112 patients with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 virus showed two clades with similar virulence and clinical outcome.
Journal ArticleDOI

Identification of fusion genes and characterization of transcriptome features in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia

TL;DR: The genomic landscape in 130 patients, including 61 cases of adult T-ALL, was addressed, with thirty-six distinct gene fusion transcripts identified, with SET-NUP214 being highly related to adult cases and ZBTB16-ABL1, TRA-SALL2, and involvement of NKX2-1 were recurrent events.
Journal ArticleDOI

Genomic landscape of CD34+ hematopoietic cells in myelodysplastic syndrome and gene mutation profiles as prognostic markers

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors performed whole-genome sequencing in CD34+ hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells (HSPCs) from eight cases of refractory anemia with excess blasts (RAEB), the high-risk subtype of MDS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Conditional knockin of Dnmt3a R878H initiates acute myeloid leukemia with mTOR pathway involvement.

TL;DR: It is shown that Dnmt3a R878H is sufficient to initiate AML and recapitulate human leukemic features in mice by using a conditional knockin approach and revealed the potential therapeutic effects of mTOR inhibition on DNMT3A mutation-related leukemia.
