TL;DR: A non-systematic review of the theory and the practice of forecasting, offering a wide range of theoretical, state-of-the-art models, methods, principles, and approaches to prepare, produce, organise, and evaluate forecasts.
Journal ArticleDOI
On the relationship between the reversed hazard rate and elasticity

Journal ArticleDOI
Combining Benford's Law and machine learning to detect money laundering. An actual Spanish court case.
TL;DR: A new tool to detect money laundering criminals is proposed and tested in the context of a real Spanish court case, using Benford's Law and machine learning algorithms.
Journal ArticleDOI
On the relationship between knowledge creation and economic performance
TL;DR: An empirical two-equation dynamic panel-data model system with fixed effects is proposed to analyze the relationship between knowledge creation and economic performance across regions over time, suggesting that efficiency gains at regional level may be achieved by investing locally in the creation of new knowledge.
Journal ArticleDOI
Credit card incidents and control systems
