Journal ArticleDOI

MOG antibody–positive, benign, unilateral, cerebral cortical encephalitis with epilepsy

TL;DR: The features of adult patients with benign, unilateral cerebral cortical encephalitis positive for the myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibody mean the pathology may be autoimmune, although the findings differ from MOG antibody–associated demyelination and Rasmussen and other known immune-mediated encephalitides.
Journal ArticleDOI

Treatment of MOG-IgG-associated disorder with rituximab: An international study of 121 patients

Daniel Whittam, +64 more
TL;DR: RTX reduced relapse rates in MOGAD, however, many patients continued to relapse despite apparent B-cell depletion, and Prospective controlled studies are needed to validate these results.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bilateral frontal cortex encephalitis and paraparesis in a patient with anti-MOG antibodies

TL;DR: Interestingly, the initial paraparesis evolved into an acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM)-like illness and optic neuritis, and the patient was found to be positive for anti-myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) antibodies.
