Crystalline Six Cy Nz and method for synthesis

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel material SiX Cy Nz, having a crystal structure similar to that of a.Si3 N4 with carbon atoms substituting most of the Si sites, is synthesized in crystalline form onto crystalline Si substrates by microwave plasma enhanced decomposition of carbon, silicon and nitrogen containing gasses.
Journal ArticleDOI

Poly(ether sulfone)-Based Anion Exchange Membranes Containing Dense Quaternary Ammonium Cations and Their Application for Fuel Cells

TL;DR: In this paper, poly(ether sulfone)-based anion exchange membranes (AEMs) containing dense quaternary ammonium cations were prepared for an ion exchange membrane fuel cell applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface plasmon resonance-induced color-selective Au-peapodded silica nanowire photodetectors with high photoconductive gain

TL;DR: Finite difference time domain (FDTD) simulation shows that the electric field distribution profiles of Au-silica hybrid nanowires support the photo-responsivity spectrum results and implies that the Au-NPs@silica nanowire can be applied for future nanoscale optoelectronic devices.
Journal ArticleDOI

X-ray absorption studies of carbon-related materials.

TL;DR: X-ray absorption near-edge structure (XANES) measurements have been performed on nitrogen-doped diamond films with three different dopant concentrations and iron-layer-stabilized carbon nanotube structures with various diameters at the C K-absorption edge using the sample drain current mode.
Journal ArticleDOI

Amorphous boron carbon nitride as a pH sensor

TL;DR: Amorphous boron carbon nitride (a-BCxNy) has been used as the sensing membrane in an extended gate field effect transistor for the measurement of pH of solutions as discussed by the authors.
