TL;DR: The first WIMP search data set is reported, taken during the period from April to August 2013, presenting the analysis of 85.3 live days of data, finding that the LUX data are in disagreement with low-mass W IMP signal interpretations of the results from several recent direct detection experiments.

TL;DR: In this paper, the available information on the nuclear-fusion cross sections that are most important for solar energy generation and solar neutrino production is reviewed and analyzed, and best values for the low-energy cross-section factors and, wherever possible, estimates of the uncertainties are provided.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of the elements in stars: forty years of progress
George Wallerstein,Icko Iben,P. D. Parker,Ann Merchant Boesgaard,Gerald M. Hale,Arthur E Champagne,Arthur E Champagne,C. A. Barnes,F. Käppeler,Verne V. Smith,R. D. Hoffman,Frank Timmes,Christopher Sneden,Richard N. Boyd,Bradley S. Meyer,David L. Lambert +15 more
TL;DR: A review of low energy nuclear experiments and theory, stellar modeling over a wide range of mass and composition, and abundance studies of many hundreds of stars can be found in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Standard solar models and the uncertainties in predicted capture rates of solar neutrinos
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects on neutrino fluxes of changing individual parameters by large amounts can usually be estimated to satisfactory accuracy by making use of the tabulated partial derivatives.
