Journal ArticleDOI

Impact of whole genome amplification on analysis of copy number variants

TL;DR: The results suggest WGA material may be appropriate for copy number analysis when amplified samples are compared to similarly amplified samples and that only the CNVs with the greatest significance values detected by such comparisons are likely to be representative of the unamplified samples.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Hematogenous Route for Medulloblastoma Leptomeningeal Metastases.

TL;DR: Evidence is presented for medulloblastoma circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in therapy-naive patients and it is demonstrated in vivo, through flank xenografting and parabiosis, that medullOBlastoma CTCs can spread through the blood to the leptomeningeal space to form leptOMeningeal metastases.
Journal ArticleDOI

Identification of genes targeted by the androgen and PKA signaling pathways in prostate cancer cells.

TL;DR: A broad view of the effects of the androgen and PKA signaling pathways on the transcriptional program of prostate cancer cells is provided and indicates that only a limited number of genes are targeted by cross-talk between AR and Pka pathways.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hippo Signaling Influences HNF4A and FOXA2 Enhancer Switching during Hepatocyte Differentiation

TL;DR: The data suggest that Hippo signaling may affect hepatocyte differentiation by influencing HNF4A and FOXA2 interactions with temporal enhancers, which is an important consideration for researchers studying cancer biology or mammalian development and/or using transformed cell lines.
