Lidia Morawska,Julian W. Tang,William P. Bahnfleth,Philomena M. Bluyssen,AC Atze Boerstra,Giorgio Buonanno,Junji Cao,Stephanie J. Dancer,Andres Floto,Francesco Franchimon,Charles S. Haworth,Jaap Hogeling,Christina Isaxon,Jose L. Jimenez,Jarek Kurnitski,Yuguo Li,Marcel G.L.C. Loomans,Guy B. Marks,Linsey C. Marr,Livio Mazzarella,Arsen Krikor Melikov,Shelly L. Miller,Donald K. TL;DR: It is argued that existing evidence is sufficiently strong to warrant engineering controls targeting airborne transmission as part of an overall strategy to limit infection risk indoors, and that the use of engineering controls in public buildings would be an additional important measure globally to reduce the likelihood of transmission.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dismantling myths on the airborne transmission of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2).

Marr,Arsen Krikor Melikov,William W. Nazaroff,Peter Nielsen,Raymond Tellier,Pawel Wargocki,Stephanie J. Dancer,Stephanie J. Dancer +17 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a review of the most commonly held dogmas on airborne transmission of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) in the COVID-19 pandemic.
Journal ArticleDOI
European Indoor Air Quality Audit Project in 56 Office Buildings
Philomena M. Bluyssen,E. de Oliveira Fernandes,L. Groes,Geo Clausen,F.O. Fanger,O. Valbjorn,C.A. Bernhard,Claude-Alain Roulet +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present results and conclusions of the audit in 56 buildings in Europe, in each of nine countries, six or more office buildings were select-ed, and the building characteristics were described by use of a check-list.
Journal ArticleDOI
Comfort of workers in office buildings: The European HOPE project
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used principal component analysis (PCA), reliability analyses, and linear regression analysis to study the relationship between personal, social and building factors and perceived comfort.
Journal ArticleDOI
Air Pollution Sources in Offices and Assembly Halls, Quantified by the olf Unit
TL;DR: In this article, a new olf unit was introduced in 20 randomly selected offices and assembly halls in Copenhagen to quantify pollution sources in the air and to determine pollution caused by occupants and smoking.
