CYFIP2-containing WAVE complexes inhibit cell migration by a competition mechanism
Anna Polesskaya,Arthur Boutillon,Sheng Yang,Yanan Wang,Stéphane Romero,Yijun Liu,Marc Lavielle,Sophie Vacher,Anne Schnitzler,Nicolas Molinie,Nathalie Rocques,Artem I. Fokin,Raphael Guerois,Ivan Bièche,Baoyu Chen,Nicolas B. David,Alexis Gautreau +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, the contribution of each WAVE complex subunit to the metastasis-free survival of breast cancer patients was systematically analyzed and it was found that overexpression of the CYFIP2 subunit was surprisingly associated with good prognosis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural basis for the substrate selectivity of Helicobacter pylori NucT nuclease activity.
Louisa Celma,Christopher Corbinais,Julien Vercruyssen,Xavier Veaute,Inès Li de la Sierra-Gallay,Raphael Guerois,Didier Busso,Aurélie Mathieu,Stéphanie Marsin,Sophie Quevillon-Cheruel,J. Pablo Radicella +10 more
TL;DR: The enzymatic activity and the crystal structure of NucT, a nuclease implicated in Helicobacter pylori purine salvage and natural transformation, are characterised and histidine124 is identified as essential for the catalytic activity of the protein.

MEIOB and SPATA22 resemble RPA subunits and interact with the RPA complex to promote meiotic recombination
Ribeiro J,Pauline Dupaigne,Duquenne C,Xavier Veaute,Petrillo C,Carole Saintomé,Orestis Faklaris,Didier Busso,Raphael Guerois,Scott Keeney,Devanshi Jain,Martini E,Gabriel Livera +12 more
TL;DR: In mouse spermatocytes, DMC1 and RAD51 appear to be normally loaded in the absence of MEIOB but are prematurely lost from unrepaired recombination sites, and this loss correlates with an accumulation of the BLM helicase on meiotic chromosomes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Proteo3Dnet: a web server for the integration of structural information with interactomics data.
Guillaume Postic,Guillaume Postic,Jessica Andreani,Julien Marcoux,Victor Reys,Raphael Guerois,Julien Rey,Emmanuelle Mouton-Barbosa,Yves Vandenbrouck,Sarah Cianférani,Odile Burlet-Schiltz,Gilles Labesse,Pierre Tufféry +12 more
TL;DR: Proteo3Dnet as discussed by the authors is a web server dedicated to the analysis of mass spectrometry interactomics experiments, which is used to organize protein data in terms of structural interactions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Probing Protein Interaction Networks by Combining MS-Based Proteomics and Structural Data Integration.
Guillaume Postic,Guillaume Postic,Julien Marcoux,Victor Reys,Jessica Andreani,Yves Vandenbrouck,Marie-Pierre Bousquet,Emmanuelle Mouton-Barbosa,Sarah Cianférani,Odile Burlet-Schiltz,Raphael Guerois,Gilles Labesse,Pierre Tufféry +12 more
TL;DR: A new bioinformatics protocol is introduced that integrates information of the multimeric protein 3D structures available in the Protein Data Bank using remote homology detection, as well as information related to Short Linear Motifs and interaction data from the BioGrid.
