Very Long Baseline Interferometry with the SKA

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a VLBI capability to the SKA arrays, which can greatly broaden the science of SKA, and is feasible within the current specifications, and can be implemented by providing phased-array outputs for SKA1-MID and SKA 1-SUR and using these extremely sensitive stations with other radio telescopes.
Journal ArticleDOI

A search for 4750- and 4765-mhz oh masers in southern star forming regions

TL;DR: In this paper, the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) was used to make a sensitive (5σ≃ 100 mJy) search for maser emission from the 4765-MHz 2 Π 1 / 2 F = 1 → 0 transition of OH.
Journal ArticleDOI

Astronomical verification of a stabilized frequency reference transfer system for the Square Kilometer Array

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present results of the astronomical verification of a stabilized frequency reference transfer system proposed for SKA-mid, where the dual-receiver architecture of the Australia Telescope Compact Array was exploited to subtract the phase noise of the sky signal from the data.
Journal ArticleDOI

A search for 4750- and 4765-MHz OH masers in Southern Star Forming Regions

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) to make a sensitive search for maser emission from the 4765-MHz $^2\Pi_{1/2}$ F=1$\to$0 transition of OH.
