Role of the intergenic dinucleotide in vesicular stomatitis virus RNA transcription.
TL;DR: The findings of this study support a model of sequential transcription in which initiation of downstream mRNA can occur only following termination of the preceding transcript, inconsistent with the shunting model of VSV transcription, which suggests that polymerase molecules are prepositioned at gene junctions, awaiting a push from upstream.

Uptake of Rabies Virus into Epithelial Cells by Clathrin-Mediated Endocytosis Depends upon Actin
TL;DR: This work extends to RABV particles the finding that clathrin-mediated endocytosis of rhabdoviruses proceeds through incompletely coated pits which depend upon actin, linking observations on particle uptake with viral infectivity.
