Journal ArticleDOI
Circulating precursor CCR7(lo)PD-1(hi) CXCR5⁺ CD4⁺ T cells indicate Tfh cell activity and promote antibody responses upon antigen reexposure.
Jing He,Louis M Tsai,Yew Ann Leong,Xin Jack Hu,Xin Jack Hu,Cindy S. Ma,Cindy S. Ma,Nina Chevalier,Nina Chevalier,Xiaolin Sun,Kirsten Vandenberg,Steve Rockman,Yan Ding,Lei Zhu,Wei Wei,Changqi Wang,Alexander Karnowski,Gabrielle T. Belz,Joanna R. Ghali,Matthew C. Cook,Sean Riminton,André Veillette,Pamela L. Schwartzberg,Fabienne Mackay,Robert Brink,Robert Brink,Stuart G. Tangye,Stuart G. Tangye,Carola G. Vinuesa,Charles R. Mackay,Zhanguo Li,Di Yu +31 more
TL;DR: In this article, the CCR7(lo)PD-1(hi) CXCR5(+) precursors rapidly differentiate into mature Tfh cells to promote anti-body responses and represent a new mechanism of immunological early memory.
Journal ArticleDOI
Are antibody deficiency disorders associated with a narrower range of cancers than other forms of immunodeficiency
Claire M. Vajdic,Limin Mao,Marina T. van Leeuwen,Philippa Kirkpatrick,Andrew E. Grulich,Sean Riminton +5 more
TL;DR: Results suggest that predominantly antibody deficiencies may be associated with a narrower range of solid cancers than immunodeficiency characterized by predominantly T-cell deficiency, such as iatrogenic and HIV-related immunodficiency, although this requires confirmation in larger cohorts.
Journal ArticleDOI
Primary immunodeficiency diseases in Australia and New Zealand.
TL;DR: PID in Australia and New Zealand are prevalent, clinically diverse, geographically dispersed, and are characterized by high rates of potentially preventable morbidity and resource utilization, requiring a public health focus on PID.
Journal ArticleDOI
International multi-centre study of pregnancy outcomes with interleukin-1 inhibitors
Taryn Youngstein,Patrycja Hoffmann,Ahmet Gül,Thirusha Lane,Rene Williams,Dorota Rowczenio,Huri Ozdogan,Serdal Ugurlu,John Ryan,Len Harty,Sean Riminton,Alex P. Headley,Joachim Roesler,Norbert Blank,Jasmin B Kuemmerle-Deschner,Anna Simon,Adrian S. Woolf,Philip N. Hawkins,Helen J. Lachmann +18 more
TL;DR: This series substantially increases the published experience of IL-1 blockade and reproduction including the first data on canakinumab and on paternal exposure to these agents.
Journal ArticleDOI
Signaling lymphocytic activation molecule (SLAM)/SLAM-associated protein pathway regulates human B-cell tolerance
Laurence Menard,Tineke Cantaert,Nicolas Chamberlain,Stuart G. Tangye,Sean Riminton,Joseph A. Church,Amy D. Klion,Charlotte Cunningham-Rundles,Kim E. Nichols,Eric Meffre +9 more
TL;DR: It was found that new emigrant/transitional B cells from patients with XLP were enriched in autoreactive clones, revealing a defective central B-cell tolerance checkpoint in the absence of functional SAP.
