Large-scale features of Last Interglacial climate : Results from evaluating the lig127k simulations for the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP6)-Paleoclimate Modeling Intercomparison Project (PMIP4)

TL;DR: In this paper, a multi-model ensemble of 17 climate models, all of which have completed the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP6) DECK (Diagnostic, Evaluation and Characterization of Klima) experiments, is presented.
Posted ContentDOI

Large-scale features of Last Interglacial climate: Results from evaluating the lig127k simulations for CMIP6-PMIP4

TL;DR: The Tier 1 lig127k experiment was designed to address the climate responses to stronger orbital forcing than the mid-Holocene experiment, using the same state-of-the-art models and following a common experimental protocol as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

A multi-model CMIP6-PMIP4 study of Arctic sea ice at 127 ka: sea ice data compilation and model differences

TL;DR: In this paper, the results from 16 climate models in terms of Arctic sea ice were analyzed and compared to the results of the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMP).
Journal ArticleDOI

The estimation of rainfall in the Sahelian squall line by the area-threshold method

TL;DR: In this article, the applicability of the area-threshold method to the estimation of the mean areal rainfall in squall lines was demonstrated, in which the area threshold method can be separately applied to the convective line and to the stratiform area.

Link between the Surface Mass Balance of the Greenland Ice Sheetand the North Atlantic Oscillation under preindustrial and lastinterglacial climates: a studywith aCoupled Global CirculationModel

TL;DR: In this article, the relationship between the surface mass balance (SMB) of the Greenland Ice Sheet (GrIS) and the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) is examined from numerical simulations performed with a new atmospheric stretched grid configuration of the Centre National de Recherches Meteorologiques- Coupled Model (CNRM-CM) version 5.2 under three periods : preindustrial climate, a warm phase (early Eemian, 130 ka BP) and a cool phase (glacial inception, 115 ka BP).
