The relationship between the recognition of specific basic emotions and negative symptom domains in patients with schizophrenia spectrum disorders
Marco Zierhut,Katrin Boege,Niklas Bergmann,I. Hahne,Alice Braun,Julia Kraft,Tam T. M. Ta,Stephan Ripke,Malek Bajbouj,Eric Hahn +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors explored the relationship between the recognition of the basic emotions and each negative symptom domain and found a significant positive correlation between stereotyped thinking and difficulties in abstract thinking with the response latency in emotion recognition.

Meta-analysis of CYP2C19 and CYP2D6 metabolic activity on antidepressant response from 13 clinical studies
Danyang Li,Oliver Pain,Chiara Fabbri,Win Lee Edwin Wong,Christopher Lo,Stephan Ripke,Annamaria Cattaneo,Daniel Souery,Mojca Z. Dernovsek,Neven Henigsberg,Joanna Hauser,Glyn Lewis,Ole Mors,Nader Perroud,Marcella Rietschel,Rudolf Uher,Wolfgang Maier,Katherine J. Aitchison,Bernhard T. Baune,Joanna M. Biernacka,Guido Bondolfi,Katharina Domschke,Masaki Kato,Yu-Li Liu,Alessandro Serretti,Shih-Jen Tsai,Richard M. Weinshilboum,Andrew M. McIntosh,Cathryn M. Lewis +28 more
TL;DR: In this article , an individual data from 13 clinical studies of European and East Asian ancestry populations were collected, and individual data was used to translate genetic polymorphisms to four metabolic phenotypes (poor, intermediate, normal, and ultrarapid) of CYP 2C19 and CYP2D6.

Journal ArticleDOI
GWAS quality score for evaluating associated regions in GWAS analyses
TL;DR: Xswapnil et al. as discussed by the authors proposed the GWAS quality score (GQS), which assesses all measured single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) that are linked by inheritance to each other [linkage disequilibrium (LD)].

Evidence for a shared genetic contribution to loneliness and Borderline Personality Disorder
Anna Schulze,Fabian Streit,Lea Zillich,Swapnil Awasthi,Alisha S.M. Hall,Martin Jungkunz,Nikolaus Kleindienst,Josef Frank,C. E. Schwarze,Norbert Dahmen,B. Schott,MM Noethen,Arian Mobascher,Dan Rujescu,Klaus Lieb,Stefan Roepke,Sarah Herpertz,Christian Schmahl,Martin Bohus,Stephan Ripke,Marcella Rietschel,Stefanie Lis,S. Witt +22 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated whether genetic predisposition for loneliness and BPD risk overlap and whether genetic risk for loneliness contributes to higher loneliness reported by BPD patients, using genome-wide genotype data.
