The expression of platelet-activating factor receptor modulates the cisplatin sensitivity of ovarian cancer cells: a novel target for combination therapy
TL;DR: PAFR is a novel and promising therapeutic target for sensitising ovarian cancer cells to CDDP, and co-treatment with a PAFR antagonist and CDDP markedly reduced tumour growth in an in vivo model of ovarian cancer.

TL;DR: A conformationally adaptive macrocycle is presented, namely zorb[4]arene, which exists in multiple conformations in the uncomplexed state and can further self-assemble into nanosheets or nanotubes upon solvent evaporation, depending on guest molecules and the conformations they can induce.

An inhibitory role of NEK6 in TGFβ/Smad signaling pathway.
TL;DR: Mechanically, NEK6 blocks nuclear translocation of Smad4, which is essential for TGFβ function, and it is identified thatNEK6 could be regulated by TGF β and hypoxia, which sheds new light on the roles of NEK 6 in canonical T GFβ/Smad pathway and tum-origenesis.
