Journal ArticleDOI

7-Dehydrocholesterol Encapsulated Polymeric Nanoparticles As a Radiation-Responsive Sensitizer for Enhancing Radiation Therapy.

TL;DR: The studies show that 7-DHC can react with radiation-induced reactive oxygen species and in turn promote lipid peroxidation, double-strand breaks, and mitochondrial damage in cancer cells, and represent a radiation-responsive sensitizer with great potential in clinical translation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hole-Transporting Poly(dendrimer)s as Electron Donors for Low Donor Organic Solar Cells with Efficient Charge Transport

TL;DR: In this paper, photoexcitation of the electron acceptor followed by photoinduced hole transfer can play a significant role in photocurrent generation in organic solar cells, and the authors have shown that photo-excitation can play an important role in the generation of photocurrent.
Journal ArticleDOI

Unexpected solvent effect on the binding of positively-charged macrocycles to neutral aromatic hydrocarbons

TL;DR: Two positively-charged naphthotubes with imidazolium as the bridges were synthesized and their structures have been characterized by 1H NMR, MS, and X-ray crystallography, finding that the binding affinities are much higher in CD3CN than in CD2Cl2.
Journal ArticleDOI

Monte Carlo study of the micelles constructed by ABCA tetrablock copolymers and their formation in A-selective solvents

TL;DR: In this paper, the phase behavior of ABCA tetrablock copolymers in A-selective solvents is investigated using Lattice Monte Carlo simulation, where the main focus is the effects of the solvophobic interactions of blocks B and C (eBS and eCS) on the micelle morphologies.
