Direct Observation of High-Temperature Superconductivity in One-Unit-Cell FeSe Films
Wenhao Zhang,Wenhao Zhang,Yi Sun,Jinsong Zhang,Fang Sen Li,Fang Sen Li,Ming Hua Guo,Yan Fei Zhao,Huimin Zhang,Jun-Ping Peng,Ying Xing,Hui Chao Wang,Takeshi Fujita,Akihiko Hirata,Zhi Li,Hao Ding,Chen Jia Tang,Chen Jia Tang,Meng Wang,Qingyan Wang,Ke He,Ke He,Shuai-Hua Ji,Xi Chen,Junfeng Wang,Zhengcai Xia,Liang Li,Yayu Wang,Jian Wang,Lili Wang,Lili Wang,Mingwei Chen,Qi-Kun Xue,Xucun Ma,Xucun Ma +34 more
TL;DR: In this article, a 1-unit-cell (1-UC) thick FeSe films on insulating SrTiO3 substrates with non-superconducting FeTe protection layers by molecular beam epitaxy was prepared for ex situ studies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Plasmonic twinned silver nanoparticles with molecular precision
Huayan Yang,Yu Wang,Xi Chen,Xiaojing Zhao,Lin Gu,Huaqi Huang,Juanzhu Yan,Chaofa Xu,Gang Li,Junchao Wu,Alison J. Edwards,Birger Dittrich,Zichao Tang,Zichao Tang,Dongdong Wang,Lauri Lehtovaara,Hannu Häkkinen,Nanfeng Zheng +17 more
TL;DR: The Ag nanoparticles reported in this work serve as excellent models to understand the detailed structure distortion within twinned metal nanostructures and also how silver nanoparticles can span from the molecular to the metallic regime.
Journal ArticleDOI
Topological insulator Bi2Se3 thin films grown on double-layer graphene by molecular beam epitaxy
Can-Li Song,Yi-Lin Wang,Yeping Jiang,Yi Zhang,Cui-Zu Chang,Lili Wang,Ke He,Xi Chen,Jin-Feng Jia,Yayu Wang,Zhong Fang,Xi Dai,Xincheng Xie,Xiao-Liang Qi,Shou-Cheng Zhang,Qi-Kun Xue,Xucun Ma +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors identified the Se-rich condition and temperature criterion for layer-by-layer growth of epitaxial Bi2Se3 films without doping and obtained a defect density of 1.0±0.2×1011/cm2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural Evolution of Atomically Precise Thiolated Bimetallic [Au12+nCu32(SR)(30+n)](4-) (n=0, 2, 4, 6) Nanoclusters
TL;DR: A series of all-thiol stabilized bimetallic Au-Cu nanoclusters, [Au(12+n)Cu32(SR)(30+n)](4-) (n = 0, 2, 4, 6 and SR = SPhCF3), are successfully synthesized and characterized by X-ray single-crystal analysis and density functional theory (DFT) calculations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Graphdiyne Interface Engineering: Highly Active and Selective Ammonia Synthesis.
Yan Fang,Yurui Xue,Yongjun Li,Huidi Yu,Lan Hui,Yuxin Liu,Chengyu Xing,Chao Zhang,Danyan Zhang,Zhongqiang Wang,Xi Chen,Yang Gao,Bolong Huang,Yuliang Li +13 more
TL;DR: Density function theory (DFT) calculations reveal that the interface bonded GDY contributes an unique p-electronic character to optimally modify the Co-N compound surface bonding, which generates as-observed superior electronic activity for NRR catalysis at the interface region.
