Improved limit on the branching fraction of the rare decay $K^0_{\scriptscriptstyle S}\to\mu^+\mu^-$

Roel Aaij, +770 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for the decay of the branching fraction of a proton-proton collision with the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV was performed, and the observed yield was consistent with the background-only hypothesis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of soil properties on heavy metal bioavailability and accumulation in crop grains under different farmland use patterns

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors identify the key soil properties influencing heavy metal bioavailability and accumulation in food crops, 81 crop samples and 81 corresponding agricultural soil samples were collected from rape, wheat, and paddy fields.
Journal ArticleDOI

Engineered fluorescence tags for in vivo protein labelling

TL;DR: This review summarizes the current methodology in five categories, namely autofluorescent protein tags, peptide tags with a specific probe-binding amino acid sequence, peptIDE tags that can be further labelled by enzyme recognition, peptides that contain an enzymatic domain which can interact with small molecules or coenzymes, and peptidetags that can been labelled with probes through natural or artificial protein–protein interaction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Observation of charmonium pairs produced exclusively in $pp$ collisions

Roel Aaij, +702 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search was performed for the central exclusive production of pairs of charmonia produced in proton-proton collisions using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3{\rm\ fb}^{-1}$ collected at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

The structure of a minimum amyloid fibril core formed by necroptosis-mediating RHIM of human RIPK3.

TL;DR: In this article, the active polymeric form of RIPK3 has been indicated as the form of amyloid fibrils assembled via its RIP homotypic interaction motif (RHIM), and the structure reveals a single protofilament composed of the RHIM domain.
