Role of oxygen-containing groups on MWCNTs in enhanced separation and permeability performance for PVDF hybrid ultrafiltration membranes

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of the oxygen-containing groups of inorganic modifiers on polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membrane performance was investigated, and the PVDF/multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) hybrid ultrafiltration membranes were prepared via phase inversion by dispersing pristine and different dosage oxidized MWCNTs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Observation of transverse polarization asymmetries of charged pion pairs in e +e - annihilation near √s=10.58GeV

A. Vossen, +108 more
TL;DR: Nonzero asymmetries for pairs of charge-ordered π(+)π(-) pairs are reported, which indicate a significant interference fragmentation function in this channel.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evidence for single top-quark production in the s-channel in proton-proton collisions at s=8 TeV with the ATLAS detector using the Matrix Element Method

Georges Aad, +2856 more
- 10 May 2016 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented evidence for single top-quark production in the s-channel using proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the CERN Large Hadron Co...
Journal ArticleDOI

Noise Characterization and Filtering in the MicroBooNE Liquid Argon TPC

R. Acciarri, +156 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the characteristics and mitigation of the observed noise in the MicroBooNE detector in a single-phase liquid argon time projection chamber (LArTPC) with two induction planes and one collection sense wire plane with a total of 8256 wires.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the branching fraction B(Λc+ → pK-π+).

A. Zupanc, +187 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a model-independent measurement of the absolute branching fraction of the Lambda(+)(c) -> pK(-)pi(+)decay with a data sample of 978 fb(-1) collected with the Belle detector was presented.
