Measurement of the D?? polarization in the decay B0 → D??τ+ντ

A. Abdesselam, +481 more
TL;DR: The first measurement of the D∗− meson polarization in the decay B0 → D ∗−τ+ντ with the full data sample of 772×106 BB¯ pairs recorded with the Belle detector at the KEKB electron-positron collider was reported in this article.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel device of passive and fixed alignment of optical fiber

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel device of passive and fixed alignment of optical fiber is proposed, where a rectangular V-groove formed by one sidewall of SU-8 resist and the substrate is used to position the optical fiber, and the leaf spring with flexure hinge clamps it.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of B0→J/ψη(′) and constraint on the η-η′ Mixing angle

M. C. Chang, +155 more
- 04 May 2012 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the branching fractions of B-0 -> J/psi eta((')) decays with the complete Belle data sample of 772 x 10(6) B (B) over bar events collected at the Y(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for CP violation in τ±→KS0π ±ντ decays at Belle

M. Bischofberger, +121 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for CP violation in τ(±)→K(S)(0)π(± )ν(τ) decays using a data sample of 699 fb(-1) collected by the Belle experiment at the KEKB electron-positron asymmetric-energy collider is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental investigation of combustion characteristics under different ventilation conditions in a compartment connected to a stairwell

TL;DR: In this article, a set of experiments was conducted in a scaled building model with 12 floors to study the effect of different ventilation conditions on combustion characteristics in a compartment connected to a stairwell with single opening, and the results showed that when the opening was set at the 1st floor, the upper part of thermal plume inclined to doorway while the lower part inclined to the opposite direction, like a crescent.
