Molecular digitization of a botanical garden: high-depth whole-genome sequencing of 689 vascular plant species from the Ruili Botanical Garden.

TL;DR: The large dataset of vascular plant genomes generated in this study, which includes both high-depth whole-genome sequencing data and associated voucher specimens, is valuable for plant genome research and other applications and provides insight into the feasibility and technical requirements for “planetary-scale” projects such as the 10,000 Plant Genomes Project and the Earth BioGenome Project.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improved limit on the branching fraction of the rare decay K-S(0) -> mu(+)mu(-)

Roel Aaij, +780 more
TL;DR: A search for the decay K S 0 → μ + μ - is performed, based on a data sample of proton-proton collisions corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb - 1 , collected by the LHCb experiment at centre-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV, yielding a limit on the branching fraction.
Journal ArticleDOI

Entanglement and quantum discord dynamics of two atoms under practical feedback control

TL;DR: In this article, the authors study the dynamics of two identical atoms resonantly coupled to a single-mode cavity under feedback control, and focus on the detection inefficiency of detection.
Journal ArticleDOI

Combination of searches for WW, WZ, and ZZ resonances in pp collisions at s=8 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2855 more
- 10 Apr 2016 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of these searches are combined to provide a more stringent test of models predicting heavy resonances with couplings to vector bosons, and upper limits on the rate of production times branching ratio to the WZ bosons are compared with predictions of an extended gauge model with a heavy W' boson.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the (B)over-bar(0)-B-0 and (B)over-bars(0)-B-s(0) production asymmetries in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV

Roel Aaij, +701 more
- 12 Dec 2014 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the production asymmetries of the B-0 and B-s(0) mesons within the LHCb acceptance using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb(-1), collected by LHC b in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV.
