TL;DR: In this article, the aggregation of N9 asphaltene molecules in aromatic solvents was investigated using molecular dynamics simulation at ambient temperature and pressure, and the simulation results showed that N9Asphaltenes molecules have tendency to aggregate and be close to each other due to OH groups and π-stacking interactions between their carbon rings.

Abstract: A carbon paste electrode (CPE) was modified with N -(ferrocenyl-methylidene)fluorene-2-amine and graphene/ZnO nanocomposite. The electrooxidation of captopril (CAP) at the surface of the modified electrode was studied using electrochemical approaches. The electrochemical study of the modified electrode, as well as its efficiency for the electrocatalytic oxidation of captopril, is described. The electrode was used to study the electrocatalytic oxidation of captopril, by cyclic voltammetry (CV), chronoamperometry (CHA) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) as diagnostic techniques. It has been found that the oxidation of captopril at the surface of modified electrode occurs at a potential of about 340 mV less positive than that of an unmodified CPE. DPV of captopril at the electrochemical sensor exhibited two linear dynamic ranges (0.1–100.0 and 100.0–800.0 μM) with a detection limit (3 σ ) of 0.05 μM.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the nonlinear responses of graphene-matrix composite to harmonic and subharmonic resonances and derived size-dependent governing equations of motion for graphene resting on a matrix based on the von Karman hypotheses and nonlocal elasticity theory.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined properties of topical functions defined on a normed linear space and studied abstract convexity properties of these functions, such as support set, polarity and subdifferential set.
Abstract: In this paper, we examine properties of topical (increasing and plus-homogeneous) functions defined on a normed linear space $${X}$$ . We also study many results of abstract convexity such as support set, polarity and subdifferential set of these functions. Finally, we give a characterization for topical functions with respect to closed downward sets.
