TL;DR: In this paper, amorphous nickel phosphide (Ni2P) was synthesized by an extremely simple precipitation method under low temperature, which was used to produce H2 in the presence of Eosin Y as sensitizer and triethanolamine (TEOA) as a sacrificial electron donor.
Abstract: Photocatalytic H2 production and photocatalytic decomposition are efficient and economical methods to obtain hydrogen fuel and dispose of organic pollutants. In this paper, amorphous nickel phosphide (Ni2P) is synthesized by an extremely simple precipitation method under low temperature. The prepared nickel phosphide was not only used to produce H2 in the presence of Eosin Y as sensitizer and triethanolamine (TEOA) as a sacrificial electron donor but also to degrade 4-nitrophenol under visible light illumination. The rate of hydrogen evolution is 34.0 μmol h−1 g−1 and the degradation efficiency is 25.5% within 4 h at initial 5.0 mg L−1 4-nitrophenol. Probable photocatalytic mechanisms were discussed. The present work is expected to contribute toward the hydrogen evolution and disposal of highly toxic pollutants by cost-effective photocatalytic means.

TL;DR: In this paper, the propagation properties of anomalous hollow beams in strongly isotropic nonlocal media are investigated based on the nonlocal nonlinear Schrodinger equation, and the analytical expressions of the beam propagation, the on-axis intensity and the beam width are obtained.
Abstract: Based on the nonlocal nonlinear Schrodinger equation, the propagation properties of anomalous hollow beams in strongly isotropic nonlocal media are investigated. The analytical expressions of the beam propagation, the on-axis intensity and the beam width are obtained. The results show that the evolution of the beam is periodical and the input power is the most important parameter. The input power determines the variation of the period. Furthermore, it is found that there exists a critical input power in the x direction and in the y direction separately when the initial beam widths in the two transversal directions are unequal. The beam width remains invariant in the corresponding transversal direction when the input power equals the critical power in one of the transversal directions. Selecting a proper input power, the beam can be broadened or compressed in the two transversal directions at the same time. In particular, the beam can be broadened (compressed) in one transversal direction, whereas in the other transversal direction, it is compressed (broadened), i.e., the transversal reverse transformation.

TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors examined the association between adolescents' perceived parenting styles and body appreciation and explored whether such association was mediated by mindfulness and self-compassion, but not by dispositional mindfulness.

TL;DR: A necessary and sufficient condition for the scalar curvature of a generalized m-quasi-Einstein manifold with dimension four is given in this paper, where it is shown that these manifolds are either Einstein or locally conformally flat.
Abstract: In this note, we get a necessary and sufficient condition such that the scalar curvature of generalized m-quasi-Einstein manifold with is constant. In particular, we discuss a class of generalized quasi-Einstein manifolds which are more general than -quasi-Einstein manifolds and prove that these manifolds with dimension four are either Einstein or locally conformally flat under some suitable conditions.
