TL;DR: By 1995, around one-third of Scotland's public sector housing stock (as at 1980) had been sold to sitting tenants under the 'Right to Buy' scheme as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: By 1995, around one-third of Scotland's public sector housing stock (as at 1980) had been sold to sitting tenants under the 'Right to Buy'. An estimated 67 000 of these 300 000 dwellings have subse...

TL;DR: In this article, a non-uniform piezoelectric beam suitable for analyzing energy harvesting behavior is developed for a nonuniform beam with a nonlinear energy function.
Abstract: A model is developed for a non-uniform piezoelectric beam suitable for analyzing energy harvesting behavior. System dynamics are projected onto a numerically developed basis to produce energy functions which are used to derive equations of motion for the system. The resulting model reproduces the experimentally observed transition to chaos while providing a conservative estimate of power output and bandwidth.

TL;DR: It is proved that Broue's abelian defect group conjecture holds for 3-blocks of defect 2 whose Brauer correspondent has a unique isomorphism class of simple modules.
Abstract: Using a stable equivalence due to Rouquier, we prove that Broue's abelian defect group conjecture holds for 3-blocks of defect 2 whose Brauer correspondent has a unique isomorphism class of simple modules. The proof makes use of the fact, also due to Rouquier, that a stable equivalence of Morita type between self-injective algebras induces an isomorphism between the connected components of the outer automorphism groups of the algebras.
