TL;DR: In this article, mixed metal oxides of Zinc and Tin (MZOTO) were synthesized by a simple co-precipitation method, and the effect of blending varying compositions of SnOx (x=1, 2) to ZnO has been evaluated, and it was found that the crystal structure, morphology, optical properties and photo-catalytic behavior were dependent on the percentage of Sn Ox.

01 Jan 2019TL;DR: This chapter focuses on two major challenges, namely security and scheduling of user requests, which are met by the proposed trust model which includes both direct trust and reputation relationship.
Abstract: The Cloud computing is a lucrative, challenging and beneficial technology in the IT world. The emergence of Internet of Things (IoT) has made cloud computing to be combined with fog computing, in order to avoid latency. These technologies have daring challenges. This chapter focuses on two major challenges, namely security and scheduling of user requests. The security is met by our proposed trust model which includes both direct trust and reputation relationship. This chapter initially, focuses on assuring trusted environment in the cloud. Then a trust model for cloud cum fog environment is proposed. The new trust model would ensure that the user’s requests are serviced with enough security guaranteed level based on the Service Level Agreement (SLA) negotiated with the cloud provider. Based on the trust value computed, the user’s requests are scheduled to the appropriate resource by applying the Trust based Stochastic Scheduling (TSS) algorithm. The trust based stochastic scheduling minimizes makespan of the schedule is achieved for a secured cloud environment

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the powervoltage and current-voltage characteristics of multicrystal photovoltaic (PV) module, connected in series, parallel and series-parallel configurations.
Abstract: This research work investigates the power-voltage (P-V) and current-voltage (I-V) characteristics of multicrystal photovoltaic (PV) module, connected in series, parallel and series-parallel configurations. The modular characteristics of PV module have been performed under homogeneous and heterogeneous conditions. The experimental and simulation results indicate that for a given number of PV modules, the array configurations affect the maximum available output power and more local maxima are found under partially shaded conditions. The analysis of bypass diodes effect has been carried out under partial shadings on the PV module strings. The obtained results reveal that, the presence of bypass diodes allow the unshaded modules of all the series assemblies to conduct their maximum currents at a given solar radiation and temperature. Moreover, the comparative analysis of PV module has been carried out for different configurations under the above disturbances. Maximum output power is obtained, when PV modules are configured parallelly, even under shading conditions. The specifications of the PV module have been obtained from the manufacturer datasheet (KC200GT) for these investigations.

01 Dec 2006TL;DR: In this paper first the noise is removed from the digitized ECG signal, then Stationary Wavelet Transform (SWT) is applied to the de-noised signal and QRS complex, T and P waves are detected and also delineated using different amplitude threshold values.
Abstract: The detection of ECG waves is important to cardiac disease diagnosis. A good system depends heavily upon the accurate and reliable detection of QRS complex as well as the T and P wave. In this paper first the noise is removed from the digitized ECG signal. Then Stationary Wavelet Transform (SWT) is applied to the de-noised signal. After that QRS complex, T and P waves are detected and also delineated using different amplitude threshold values. This algorithm allows delineation of wide variety of QRS complex, P and T wave. In this evolution is done for different manually annotated databases, such as MIT-BIH Arrhythmia, QT and European ST-T database. The QRS detector obtained a sensitivity Se=99.30% and positive predictivity of PP=99.39% over the well known MIT-BIH Arrhythmia Database.
